Vegetation Worker

MPDT are currently looking for vegetation workers to join our team working on the Queensland Rail contract in Yatala, Brisbane.

We are specifically looking for qualified tractor operators, herbicide sprayers & brush cutters. 

The Role

You will be an essential part of our vegetation management crews, safely operating specialised equipment to maintain vegetation across the rail corridors.

Responsibilities include, but no limited to, tasks such as tractor slashing, herbicide spraying, mowing & brush cutting.

You will use various software systems to conduct daily reporting & site assessments as part of your role. Basic computer skills are necessary.

Qualifications/Experience

• MR/HR truck licence - preferred
• General construction induction card (white card) – mandatory
• ACDC licence – desirable
• RIIMPO315 – Conduct tractor operations
• Queensland Rail qualifications – highly desirable
